About TypingSpark
Free typing tests and practice that show you what to work on next.
TypingSpark is a free typing platform. It measures your typing speed and accuracy, shows exactly which keys and key pairs slow you down, and builds practice from those weak spots. It also offers step-by-step lessons for touch typing, realistic data entry and job-test practice, typing games and simple tools for teachers.
Free, with no sign-up
Every feature is free and works without an account. There are no premium plans, locked lessons or paid certificates. Your progress is saved in your own browser, not on our servers.
How TypingSpark is funded
The site is supported by advertising from Google AdSense. Ads appear around the tools and articles, never inside the typing area and never while a test is running. Pages used by students show only non-personalised ads, and student assignment and class report pages show no ads at all.
Honest results
Every figure is calculated with the formulas published on how typing speed is measured. The coach's recommendations are rules applied to your own keystrokes, not artificial intelligence. Certificates are clearly labelled as self-assessed results. TypingSpark is not affiliated with any employer, school board or testing company.
Original content
All lessons, passages, code samples, workplace scenarios and games were written for TypingSpark. Names, addresses and companies in practice exercises are fictional.
