Embed a typing test on your website
Copy one line of HTML to put a working typing test on your site, blog or learning platform.
What visitors see
The embedded test is the same typing stage used on TypingSpark: live speed and accuracy, a timer that starts on the first key, and a result with net WPM, accuracy and errors left. Visitors can choose the test length unless you hide the buttons, and there is a link to the full analysis on TypingSpark.
Private and ad-free
The embedded test shows no ads, sets no cookies, stores nothing and sends nothing after it loads. It never asks for a name or an account, so it is suitable for school and library sites.
For developers: results and resizing
When a test finishes, the frame sends the host page a message with the numbers (typingspark:result with netWpm, grossWpm, accuracy, seconds and errors), and it reports its height (typingspark:height). The optional script above shows how to use both. Check the message origin before using it, as you should with any message.
Questions
Is it free to embed?
Yes, on any site. Please keep the small credit link under the frame.
Can I embed it in Google Sites, WordPress or a learning platform?
Yes, anywhere that allows an iframe or custom HTML block.
Will results be saved?
No. Embedded tests do not store anything. Visitors who want a history can take tests on TypingSpark itself.
