Typing practice
Drills built from your own mistakes. Pick keys to focus on, or let TypingSpark use the weak keys from your recent tests.

How adaptive practice works
Every test you take on this device records which characters you missed and which ones took longest. The weak-key drill combines your recent tests, finds the keys and key pairs that cost you the most, and builds practice text that contains them often, mostly in real words. As those keys improve, the drill moves on to the next weakest ones.
Nothing is uploaded: the statistics live in your browser. If you have not taken a test yet, start with a 1-minute test so the drill has something to work with, or type the keys you want to practise yourself.
Practice modes
- Weak keys: real words rich in the characters you miss.
- Choose keys: type any set of characters to drill, such as qz or ;:'".
- Speed sprints: 20-second bursts of easy words, typed a little faster than feels comfortable.
- Your text: paste anything you need to type often. It stays on your device.
- Listening: hear a sentence read aloud and type what you hear. Listening, spelling and typing are separate skills, so expect lower scores here than in a normal test.
Questions
How long should I practise each day?
Ten to fifteen focused minutes a day works better than one long session a week. Stop when your accuracy starts to fall.
Is my pasted text sent anywhere?
No. Text you paste for practice stays in your browser and is never sent to TypingSpark.
