Using TypingSpark

TypingSpark is free to use for personal, educational and workplace practice. Please do not attempt to disrupt the service, overload it with automated requests or misuse result codes.

Accounts

Accounts are free and optional. Keep your password and recovery code private; you are responsible for activity on your account. One person per account. We may remove accounts used to abuse the service, and accounts unused for two years are deleted.

Results and certificates

Results are calculated with the published formulas and are provided for practice and self-assessment. Certificates and result codes show that a record was issued by TypingSpark for the details shown; they do not verify identity and are not an official or accredited qualification. Do not present them as anything else.

Content

Lessons, passages, games and scenarios are original works of TypingSpark. You may use them freely with students and for your own practice. Text you paste into the practice tools remains yours and stays on your device.

TypingSpark is provided as is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be error-free or online, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of a result.
