Typing assignment
How typing assignments work
A teacher chooses the test length, the text and the target speed on the teachers page, then shares a link. Opening the link loads the assignment here. Take the test once, and TypingSpark gives you a result code that your teacher can check on the verify page.
Tips before you start
Sit up straight, rest your fingers on the home row and read a few words ahead as you type. Accuracy counts as much as speed, so slow down if you start making mistakes. You can warm up first with a 1-minute typing test.
Questions
I opened this page without a link. What do I do?
Assignments come from a link your teacher shares. Ask your teacher for the link, or take a normal typing test in the meantime.
Can I retake an assignment?
That depends on your teacher. Each attempt gives a new result code, and your teacher decides which one to accept.
Can my teacher see my result without the code?
Only in online classes. For a shared assignment link, send the result code to your teacher.
