Verify a result
Paste a result code to check it.
How result verification works
When you finish a teacher’s assignment or make a certificate, TypingSpark signs the result with a secret key held only on our server and turns it into a result code. Pasting the code here checks that signature. If anyone changed the speed, accuracy, date or name, the check fails.
Who uses it
Teachers check assignment results, employers check speeds listed on a CV or job application, and anyone can check a typing certificate. The code shows only what the test taker chose to include.
Questions
Does a verified result prove who took the test?
No. It proves the result was produced by TypingSpark and has not been edited. It does not prove who was at the keyboard, so supervised tests are best for hiring.
Where do I find a result code?
Assignment results show a result code with a copy button, and every certificate includes a verify link with its code.
Do result codes expire?
No. A code stays valid as long as TypingSpark keeps the same signing key.
