Accuracy Challenge
No timer. Type for as long as you can without a single mistake.
Why play it
This challenge rewards exactly the habit that raises every other score: typing at a pace where you do not make mistakes. Your score is the number of correct characters before the first error, and your speed is shown alongside it.
How to go further
Most runs end on a capital letter, a comma or a double letter. Slow down slightly before punctuation, check the word ahead, and keep a steady rhythm rather than bursts. There is no time limit, so the only way to lose is to rush.
- Your score is the number of characters typed correctly before the first mistake.
- Your speed during the run is shown too, but it does not affect the score.
- Text comes from the same original passages as the typing tests, so it includes capitals and punctuation.
Why accuracy matters
In most typing tests, every uncorrected error reduces your net speed, and every corrected one costs time. Practising error-free runs builds the careful habits that raise your real score. For a gentler version with the same idea, try accuracy practice, where a wrong key is simply not entered.
Questions
Does Backspace work?
No. The first wrong key ends the run, so there is nothing to correct.
