Daily Challenge
One passage per day, the same for everyone. Take it as often as you like; your best attempt counts.
How it works
The challenge text changes at midnight UTC and is generated from the date, so everybody types the same words. Your best attempt each day is saved in your browser with your weekly history and your daily streak.
Tips
- Read the first sentence before you start. The timer only begins on your first key.
- Take the challenge at the start of your practice session as a warm-up check.
- Compare your daily scores over a week, not day to day; a few words per minute of variation is normal.
Your weekly history
The week view shows your best net speed for each of the last seven days, and your streak counts consecutive days with at least one attempt. Like everything on TypingSpark, the scores are stored in your browser only. You can save a result image to share your score, and every attempt also appears on your progress page.
Questions
